Over time, our core values have brought the College growth and success. These values continue to do so today, particularly where our students are concerned.
Bay State College opened in 1946 to serve a single industry, the airlines, by providing students with hands-on skills and training, paying particular attention to a strong educational foundation. Then as now, the College was known for its small classes, individual attention, and focus on specific careers.
Over its 69 year history, the College has added many new programs and today offers 14 Associate degree programs and concentrations, 13 Bachelor’s programs and concentrations, one certificate and articulation agreements with New England College of Business and Salve Regina University, through which an MBA and a Masters can be obtained.
Bay State College still operates under the vision of its founders, providing America's leading employers with skilled graduates who are professionally trained and educated for the professions they desire.
Since its founding, Bay State College's campus has expanded, and so too has its reach and program offerings. All the while, the College has maintained the same level of individualized support and attention, helping to prepare its students for success in their respective career fields.
Today, Bay State College "lives" in several buildings sprawled across Boston's Back Bay. Our students on the South Shore of Massachusetts also enjoy the full Bay State experience at our Taunton campus - recently renovated and better than ever. And, our reach expands even further to our Online students, who come to us from several different states across the country.
We are always adding programs to meet the needs of the ever-changing job market. The most recent additions to our program list include an RN to BSN program - which includes a hybrid and an online alternative - and a Management degree with a concentration in Information Systems.
